go 2.5, 3.0 is too big unless your name is mad john, and 2.0 would be too small for 250-300

Stay with regularly available parts to do your kit with. They must be easily obtainable and at a resonable price. We all thought tims kits were here to stay well look what we have now a bunch of kits with 1/2 the stuff that dosnt work. go with a good easily available turbo i dont recomend IHI unless you have a dealer near you. Garrett and turbonetics are vere easily had. When i bought my turbo holsets hy35's were disliked by many desils and cheep 200$ but they soon realized that they were the same as if they put a banks turbin housing on them and in the end now hy35 turbos sell for upwards of400-600 depending. just know what your getting I would recomend a full standalone for your car haltech is nice and is proven. just do some searching.

Thanks for the tips, what do you guys know about computer (laptop) based software... I'm getting a nice laptop on the cheap side and was looking into possibly doing some computerized engine management. Any drawbacks to this, advantages or things to look out for?

VHR Extreme
Tial 46mm Wastegate

80mm downpipe and exhaust pipe

ECU swap to a GK 16-bit if you can.

this will get you 425 max

quick question about this, anyone know what a rough rough estimate would be on how much all that would run?

and i remember hearing somewhere that if your gona go turbo you shouldnt go with certain headers? if your planning to go turbo, what headers would be suitable?

sorry to hijack the thread, didnt think it was worth it making a new thread for it, thanks
