it might not be too late for you to save your turbo seal, but if you see any oil in your intake side of your turbo, it is time for new seal(s).
try take some pics and post here.

Where i tried to tap it, standard pipe threads wouldnt fit. I ended up stripping two brass nipples =P Im, gonna go move my line and see if it stops sputtering. Ill also check out the intake side.

Well, i moved the line and let it run for a while. still a bit of smoke, but it seemed to be clearing up. Deffinatly oil though. I'll post pics of my setup once it's all up and running.

*update* I drove my car for the first time today. When first starting the car i get the smoke still so i think that there must be a leak in the seal and it pools up and then burns off as it runs. What kind of seal do i need for a t3 super 60? anyone know where i can get one?

are you getting the oil from the head now?

was there oil in the intake side of the turbo?

you will have to probably send the turbo out and pay like 250$ if you wanna get it rebuilt the right way.. otherwise check ebay, and you can do it yourself, but itll be a pain in the ass.

contact this company

Gpop Shop

I got my turbo rebuilt fot under $100 since they only had to replace the seal.

I am pretty sure that you will be charged the same, and also their customer service is just excellent!!!

I took my turbo apart today. There was no oil in the compressor section, but there was a lot in the turbine section. The thing is, i dont think the seal is bad, isnt it just like a little metal ring? It seems to be sitting flush with everything. My question is, could it be because of the position of my oil drain outlet? the outlet sticks basically straight out the side, paralell with the ground. Does it need to be facing down? could the oil be pooling up and seeping into the turbine?

my drain line was kinked... well more like an S shape, so the oil was ''restricted'' access to go back down.

did you clock the turbo from the way i sent it to you.. cuz i sent it to you clocked so the oil drain would be STRAIGHT down.. if its facing parelell with ground, thats your problem for sure..

heres a pic of how i sent it.. feed is pointing UP..
