QUOTE (OdessitPashka)
my car only has 35k mi on it, do I need a inj cleaner?

If you ran the car for that long without ever using injector cleaner, I would take it to a shop and have them do a cleaning on it. They have a little fuel cell (compressed cylinder) that they hook up, instead of your fuel tank, and run the car on the fuel cell. I had this done to mine at around 38K and I got some of my old power back. All fuel has impurities in it that over time will start to clog or restrict your injector nozzles, changing spray pattern and such, all of which will cause a slight power loss. Also running an STP fuel injector cleaner bottle with every oil change will help. I wouldnt use it more than that though.

Just a question on that turbo manifold. It seems from the design that it would create quite a bit of turbulance and not allow smooth air flow. I seen this one on ebay and not that I really care for SSautochrome, but the design looks like better air flow.

Now, I dont know how much we are restricted with space since I havent installed a turbo, YET, but wouldnt this design of manifold be better?

yes that design is a lot better and should provide a better air flow, but you might have some fitment issues with it, plus quality of those manifolds are really bad, as well as i heard they crack.

btw, where can i get that service done to my car/inj?

thanks

Don't mean to get off topic, but where do you live in SC? I'm in spartanburg, and I'd love to see the car man.

OdessitPashka, I would try calling around a few places that are near you. I had mine done at a local shop after I saw the system used on one of the TNN (Spike TV) shows, cant remember if it was horsepower TV or Trucks. Wish I could remember the name of the system now. Anyway, most places that do different types of services will know what you are talking about. Wherever you get it done, I would watch them just to make sure they just dont put something in your tank, you can do that for $2.00 lol. If there is a Mr. Tire near you, give them a call. I saw online that they do fuel injector cleaning, but I dont know what method they use.
