I had to make a 1'3/8 aluminum spacer because the turbo was to close to the block because of the internal wastegate.

Now, that's something different... i think renate did the same thing.

So, even with that spacer... did you clear enough space for the stock rad fans still?

you can always fab the rod/mounts of the internal wastegate or even get a different one to make it work without the spacer. At least that's what i did on mine...

Very nice setup indeed!

Did you install it on your own? Are you going to tune it o a dyno?

well done!

I thought the ssautochrome turbo manifold was excellent value for $150 US.
installation was straightforward, I didn't need a spacer block to move the turbo away from the engine.

the manifold, that I replaced it with was from t4turbotiburon.
Nicer looking manifold, but I didn't get noticeable performance improvements.
It looks like the manifold that you see from Mitsubishi EVO cars.
My mechanic did advise, its got a stronger build and more suited for higher hp, but a loss on low end torque.

SuPaDuPa, if you want substanstial improvement on the turbo power.
Get a Ported cylinder head, I got a 60hp increase.

Before getting other parts like camshaft, intake manifold, throttle body etc.

Looks nice, you do know you need to recirculate that BOV. Also, does your car even idle?

What's the canister on the side of your valve cover? And why do you have your regulator on the driver side of the car?

You might wanna try relocating your battery, or getting a small Odyssey. And FAL fans will free up a TON of room in front of your turbo.

If you do ever get that SMT working, don't hesitate to crank it up to 10-12psi, and show us some dyno sheets with AFR's. I'd like to know if anyone has gotten it to work right above 240hp.
