Speed-Factor has his own website dealing with his turbo sales. I'm just gonna let you know he is not very well liked around the community.

while speedfactor turbo kits are nice and produce nice results, it's pain in the ass to get to your house. You can wait for a year to get every little part from you kit.

Alpine is alright. Turbo is way too small and it's outdated.

I'll let others talk about turbo options we have right now.

What's with the face Viper?

I saw in your other thread that you are only 16 and this is your first car. I'd first learned your car better and I'd recommend you to buy Maximum Boost by Corky Bell and read it. It will help a lot.

start searching this forum for info on turbo kits for our cars.

A lot has changed with speedfactor and I'm not so sure you should go with them anymore.

Alpine=nowayjose. (imo)

If ya feel like waiting and putting up the cash you should research FlyRyde , a brand new business that is growing and growing. I can't give enough PROPS to Chris (Blacktibs) ont his site for coming out with SOOO many new body syling and perfoamce parts for our cars both RD1 and Rd2 in such a short time. It's only gonna keep growing, and soon FlyRyde plans to have a very nice, but expensive turbo kit out for our cars. all bolt-on, all secy as hell, and most impoartanty...reliable. FlyRyde is a reputable company so far, he's not gonna screw us over on a turbo kit.

FlyRyde just signed a deal with HotShot which is now in the production phase of 4-2-1 NA headers, equal length NA headers, turbo manifold, strtut bars, radiator hose set (the real kind), etc. Anything you want, you can have bro...money talks.

It seems like you have the dough to spend, I'd have to give you my honest opinion and say help out Flyryde/all us RD Tib owners/ and yourself and use that cash to put downpayments on the first FlyRyde bolt-on 300whp turbo kit for our cars. It's in production from what I know, and with money it could be done before we know it.

but seriously, start searching for both turbokit info/engine build info (can't just slap on a turbo without preppin the engine for boost)/and FlyRyde.

g'luck.

I brought your post from that other topic here. I'll leave that other topic open for intro but all the turbo related stuff can be asked here.

Can a mod merge two posts? It's not a double post. I brought it from another topic.

uh... alright.

Welcome to the site, I'm glad you found it. Keep the money for right now, and learn as much as you can in the next 2-3 months. Figure out which turbo to buy and why, and then I suggest buying it. You'll learn a lot from this site, just be patient. Don't throw a turbo on until you understand as much as you can. There may be some new turbo setups coming out soon as well.

I can at least show you a turbo kit like ours will look like. Except we offer one sexy well built manifold, with the option of a full kit built around a T25, or you have the option of getting a GT28RS turbo like in this pic. It basically makes good numbers, but more importantly spools up super quick, so no waiting on the revs to get up there. Here you go guys, I think we'll be looking at 2500 for a basic low boost setup intercooled and run with a basic Emanage, while we will have a 4000 kit with the GT28RS of course intercooled with the new Emanage Ultimate. Both kits will come with intake manifold spacers designed for a second set of fuel injectors. Pictured below, these are designed by Denis, and they'll compiment the FlyRyde kits just great. So in the instance of the high boost kit, we'll have the Emanage Ultimate be able to fip from low rated street injectors, and big ass high flow race injectors with the flip of a button.

We want this to be dumbassproof. So we may offer a deal on pistons and rods as well for a discounted price.

Put it this way, we wont have a standard "For Sale" kit on the project car, but we do plan to be running at least 500whp on the drag strip. We have to get stronger axles built for the Tiburon before we can get any good trips down the drag strip with a full bolt in/welded cage and drag tires.

It'll just be sooooo nice to not need to drive the car on the street so we can keep it crazy tuned for the street. And with guys like Mad_John around, we KNOW that we KNOW that we KNOW hyundai's can grow nuts the size of T88's
