turbo on auto?
ok i unfortunately have a auto tib not by choice but thats what i got. i want to know if its worth it to put a turbo on it? i really want to get some speed and am prepared to spend the cash but i dont know if it can be done anywhere near were i live. help if u know anything about this. thanks.

Boosting an auto can be done, but you'll want to upgrade your torque converter to handle the extra power. Contact Level 10 and tell them Hyundai Aftermarket.org sent you. They'll hook you up with what you need. You can see their products here:

You can always swap to a 5 speed. Probably cost less then all the trans work needed to hold the boost.

After a few months of running 8-10 psi on an auto accent 1st gear started slipping and you could tell it was on it's last legs. I say run it till it breaks than swap in a manual with a decent clutch.

Yeah, contact Level 10, after you've wasted 5k on a piss-poor rebuild invest $300 in a manual swap. Been there, done that (not with level 10 [because of the reviews], but same basic thing.)
Manual is the best best, either that or build he hell out of the auto which will cost as much if not MORE that a well built manual with full swap and show ZERO longevity. IMHO, an unwise investment
