Default Turbine from a turbo diesel vehicle?

Is it possible to put turbine from a turbo-diesel vehicle?

I found this (cataloug - what vehicle - what turbine) :
http://www.chat.ru/~tiburon100/TURBOKAT.xls (350Kb)

I found that some models of turbine are used for gasoline and diesel engines.

But I heard that exhaust gas temperature (EGT) of diesel engine is 800C (1500F) and EGT of gasoline is higher - 1000C (1800F). So turbine from diesel can be damaged from higher temp.

What do you think about it?

Dont know about hyundais but with DSM's you want to run 1200-1300 EGT's. And a DSM is aturbocharged so a beta should be less

Where the sensor is placed ties into this as well. My DSM sits @ around 1400... you really don't want to go any higher than that. 1700+ means you've basically cooked your engine. I've never heard of any car running over 1800 safely.

I don't see a problem with using it.

well you are SUPPOSED to put an EGT probe into the manifold near the engine

Depending on where you place the sensor on the manifold and how far exactly away from the engine can make a difference in degrees. Also, most sensors do not read the same. Temps can vary a lot between manufacturers, on the same car in the same place. Not an exact science for some reason.
