Default Tubo-kit tune question

I want to install turbo, injectors, decompretion plate, SMT6 (or SAFC2), intercooler and other stuff in one place and tune SMT6 (SAFC2) in another.

How can I drive from one place to another or should I pull my car?
Is it possible to set internal wastegate temporarily to 0 psi (to drive to tune SMT6)?

You'll be fine for a short time. It will run okay at like 9psi or so, but it may be shakey and rough, when you hit maximum boost. If you take it easy for the drive there you should be okay.

On the way back though, I expect you to kick the crap out of your car for at least an hour.

Probably not the greatest idea to drive it to where you want to go... personally, I would tow it.

If you must, drive it under the turbo's spoolup... what turbo are you using? I would try and keep it under 3000RPM and keep off full throttle to stay away from making large amounts of boost. Keep an eye on engine temp, boost pressure, and A/F or EGT if you can.

I think to use Garrett T3 Super 60 Trim.
Is it possible to temporarily make 0 psi boost?

Internally wastegated turbos usually can only be set to make 5PSI or more. You could if you wanted make a boost leak that would keep all the boost from entering the engine. That would keep the boost entering the engine at a minimum.

personally.. after all that work and money invested.. I would have the car towed. No sense in getting boost spike or running lean or even blowing an intercooler hose and ruining something.

^^ Agreed. If you must drive it, then drive real slow and bump up the fuel with the S-AFC/SMT-6 for a little added safety.

NOt too sure if you can safely do this, but couldnt you just take the up-pipe out and put some kind of ram air pipe in its place. So then the car is still getting any air it needs, but the boosed air is just coming out the pipe off the intercooler into the atmosphere?

Like i said, i dont know if this is safe to do, but logically it would work.

If by decompretion plate you mean one of those gaskets that says they lower compression please do yourself a favor and do it the right way by getting lower compression pistons and stronger rods if you are going to want to run higher psi.
