Top mount IC
Ok hear me out. If there was a way to fab up something so that a top mount intercooler could work on our cars, and if we had a hood scoop....would it generate more HP than a FMIC? Im asking because piping would be shorter with a top mount versus a front. And heat soak wouldnt be too much of an issue because the outside air rushing in would be cool the engine bay down. Plus, the top mount would give the car more of a sleeper because no one would see an IC in the front. Maybe Im nuts2.gif thinking about this, but what do you all think? dunno.gif Shifty.gif

There's a reason why Subie guys convert to FMIC. The only reason why Subies come with a top mount at all is so that their rally cars can run them legally. A top mount is less likely to get damaged in a rally style race.
