Those T Bolt clamps look great man. Those the Breeze ones from Amazon.com I told you about?
Also, you got some stuff going on in the engine bay, why not get the samco hoses mang?
Gawd I can't wait to see it this year.

but what type of piping is that? looks like that cheap stuff from home depot or something.
its dyno max exhaust tubing... 16g mild steel
the reason it looks like that is i had to do whats called a pie cut to get such a tight radius and complex bends....
the radius is 3" all the way around just like mandrel bending which is great but you CANT get a mandrel bend this complex for what i had to do.. the pipe curves 3 ways in the first 6" of the pipe
that downpipe started out as a 4 foot long section of STRAIGHT pipe

Tim somewhow got my 3" downpipe to fit next to the alt. and under the pan. I think he only used 2 or 3 pie cuts just for the first bend off the exhaust flange.
Why are you going with 4" intake tubing? 3 or 3.5" should work. I would think 4" would lag like crazy.

i used the replacment mirrors from walmart

did you cut each piece, or is it one big sheet in between the two layers of the hood?
Wait I have holes in my hood, its probably not a good idea for me to do that anyway, lol

the intake pipe cant caust lag... you want to get air to the intake of the turbo as fast as you can... the turbo has a 4" intake on it... so why not use it if i have the space? think about it most people dont run filters on high HP turbo cars for exactly that reason
as far as tims manifold and mine... my manifold is a lil bit more to the alt side leaving the ability for my turbo piping to go down... also mine is a lil bit lower with longer primaries which makes the turn that much more extreme... tim uses higher ram hornes then mine does....... between teh exhasut of the turbo and the alternator i only had 3.5" of space... 3 " of which had to be taken up by the piping itself

Also it should be noted that he can do this with the intake piping because he has gone standalone. If you still have your stock ecu with a MAF sensor you cant do this because you would need a 4" MAF or youd have to use reducers before and after the MAF and would more or less defeat the purpose, and look gay in the processs.
Somebody making bigger MAF's for us would be pretty cool though, since it can become a big source of restriction when the turbo has to suck 300 whp worth of air through it. But the MAF sensor itself would actually have to be different too, calibrated for the larger diameter.
lets get some shots of that DP all pretty brian, bet it looks good.

Nevermind, I took what you said as 4" charge piping, not just the short intake tube. duh_1.gif
Where did you get the polished aluminum pipes?
