Default FS: Rockford Amps, amp link and 3 10" JL in box

So I'm trying to install my timer, and during like the first 5 minutes, I run into a problem. I cant remove the panel under the steering column.

Whenever I turn this screw to the left, it just keeps on turning and turning, the piece of crap won't come out. So I took a look up under there to see if I could get a better look, and that really didn't tell me anything. I turned the screw, and it just kept turning, not coming out at all. I tried putting a flat object on the back side of it to push it out while I was unscrewing it, but that didn't work. I know this is a really basic question. But this is really giving me a headache.

It's the pointy one. That's the backside.

The front.

And yes, guys I'm unscrewing it to the left, I know, righty tighty lefty loosey. haha[img][/img]

Never Resolved? Well, I need to resolve this otherwise I won't have a timer, and I'm going to order my SAFC II sometime in the next two weeks also, so I'll need for this panel to be removable.

Ok.. the best way to get that out is taking out first the console where is the Radio... It two little graps that grab the lower console of the sterring wheel. Also take out the OBDII and the Hood "switch"

If the screw is still turning, maybe it don't holding anything at that moment (it's broke already)... so you can pull out.... just TAKE CARE... its very fragile...

Does the metal bracket that is holding it in turn as well? I do not see how it really could but this would be the only thing that could be happening other than the screw is striped.

No, the metal thing stays in one place. I think i'm going to go and try and screw the metal thing off from the back, I'll let you guys know if that works.

EDIT: No i couldn't screw it off, there was no good angle I could get at the metal thing on the back, and I couldn't get a good grip with pliers. Do you think I would be able to wire this without taking off this panel?
