The oil seals on my turbo are blown. While hitting boost and I let off the gas, there will be a cloud of blue smoke from the exhaust for a period of one to three seconds. I've narrowed it down to the turbo itself. I thought about getting it rebuilt, but it's some no name brand. I've been looking at a few turbo's and found these so far. I'm leaning more towards this one, but will post them up for thoughts.

Dont buy your turbo off ebay, get it from a trusted speed shop or similar.

If you pay 800 for a new turbo and your sure its new, its money well spent.

Mine has been doing this as well. But mine does it even when I'm not boosting.

100% positive. There was oil laying in the air intake, and I took off the hot charge piping and there was oil in there as well.

Sucks about the loss of turbo but go for #1. Stick with the name brand that got there for a reason, you know?

And on a side note, I'd REALLY like to break into this shop...
