Tib back to life progress thread
Finally got the Tib back home in my driveway after a week of nice weather and no snow...which didnt last of course. Now however the engine is sitting in its home and wiring has begun, I couldnt do any more work until I had the engine put back in. For the first time ever I have a working e-brake so I do not need to the leave the car parked in gear when I get out. CF hood on, will begin fitting the IC later this week.

Keep Us Up To Date!!!!! |
9 iron FTW!
Yes I am going with a full standalone MS2/extra, full sequential injection, knock detection, launch control, no lift shift. |
jajaja it looked like a lower degree loft from that angle
that no lift shift is cool, glad to see more people going for the MS |
Cant wait to see the finished product. I loved the xd-hatch

A little more progress made today, I got the power distribution block for the engine bay fuse box, alternator and starter hooked up, it sits behind the drivers side kick panel for easy access in the future. I covered the alternator and starter power wires with some heavy duty shrink wrap and fixed them in place all ready to go. I have the KnockSense wired in and ready to go and should be able to wire up the meth injection controller tonight now that I can find accessory 12v power.
As you will see the passenger side of the car has been all secured but the worst of the battle is still to come which is right behind the center console where the extra wire will be coiled up and labelled. The big ass open space in the first photo is where the heater blower unit should be. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/e...T/DSC02637.jpg http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/e...T/DSC02638.jpg http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/e...T/DSC02640.jpg |
