Default Thunder supercharger for 2003 V6 Tib

Has anyone else heard about this. I read it on another board and went to the site that has it. The price is high-$5,000.00. It claims a 53 hp boost. They have a picture of it, I can't tell if the hood had to be modified to fit it in.

Its known as the Thunder in Korea, it will be known as the Shark Racing Super Charger in the U.S. once we import it and test it. The first of a number of forced induction projects we have going right now. Our retail price will be lower than 5K, even with the hood.

a supercharger will keep it under its limit

its not that it CANT handle boost, it just cant handle that much

Im sure SR has taken all of this into consideration

A v-6 with a light to mild supercharger would kick ass

On the test car in korea, its been on there for a couple of months now with no problems. Even though its not THAT much of a hp increase (40-60) Sam said that when he drives it, it feels like a lot more. Got whiplash on acceleration almost. lol

So that 40-60hp is with the supercharger alone right?

This does not include bolt ons such as the CAI, headers and exhaust? I am just trying to figure cause I would probally be interested as long as with the above boltons mentioned I am going to be between 275-300hp (on the fly).

Should put the V6 in the mid to high 13's which will make me happy enough

Yes, supercharger alone. Next stage of our testing is how the engine holds up with our CAI, our header, and cat back.
