Maier, is your turbo water cooled? I didn't see any water ports. Also, are the flanges on your manifold stainless as well? They look kind of dull. Looks like it will make some serious boost. Have you got new pistons in yet? I was wondering what you decided to go with.
The pistons/con rod setup I have acquired are the CNK low compression 8.5:1 with Crower rods
The flanges on the manifold are actually mild steel. This was done through Chris's own engineering. Everything else is stainless steel 316 surgical grade, and polished (I wonder if Chris has tennis elbow now b/c of the polishing job tongue.gif )
"The reason for the mild steel is because of the 'stretch' with stainless steel as it gets hot and cools down and gets hot again.... I kept blowing exhaust gaskets, I then changed this to mild steel and voila ... I guess you can always slit the manifold between the cylinders, but I also found the doing so will tend to 'spring' away and warp due to the welding pulling on the branch - so when you slit the branch you have to skim it afterwards and sometimes the flange starts off at 20mm on the one end and lands up at 12mm on the other depending on howmuch needs to be skimmed.... doesnt look too nice..." (quote is from Chris himself while talking to Batlord about his manifold in HyundaiPerformance)
btw..the pictures here does not do the manifold any justice. Several people from several well known tuning shops (including EIP) said that the manifold is simply put, Amazing. smile.gif

yea get it thru summit, if you want a specific color you'll wait a little longer, but as Tony recommended them to me, I will not stop recommending them to others, specially those going with these type of manifolds...

Nice work, brotha!
