Default TD05 Big 16G Turbo

Anyone using this turbo on their Beta? I may be swapping mine out for this one. Im currently running a TD04 so the upgrade will be nice.

Get a td05h-20g, you'll be happier.

Keep in mind, either one might not be a direct swap. It depends on the type of turbine housing you get with the new turbo. There's quite a few flange styles out there so you need to see what style you have and match it up.

I have one for my build, but might go for the 20G depending on a number of factors.

Be careful with this one because there are a lot of domestic sellers with cheap ebay jobs and poor rebuilds. Keep in mind this was only sold by Mitsubishi for use on the Evo3 and since then a great number of them have circulated, but finding an authentic one with a quality rebuild my be hard unless you have a good DSM or Subaru hookup.

I guess the biggest question is what kind of price-point were you looking at?

Depending on your flange you can get the td05 I think it is a 15g if I remember correctly out of a volvo since the car was where tuned on the longevity side of the spectrum it should be in good working order cheap and can boost it to whatever yuo want.

^^ Your statement regarding "boost it to whatever you want" is inaccurate.

On the other hand, I have a td05h-20g turbo 200 miles on the rebuild for sale if anyone is interested. It's Genuine Mitsubishi turbo not china replica. You can either get the td05h turbine or the td06 turbine with a t3 flange. I have both of them for this unit.
