Ya, this is what I've been slaving over lol...

Unfortunately I wont have it done by HS, and I won't be able to attend HS this year. Next year, you'll see me in full force smile.gif

BTW, heres the pics for the fellas curious about the ford 70mm

Here's the plenum ported all the way through both stock plate and new plate to match the Ford 70mm

And heres the new throttle cable plate

And heres the on the tb. Notice where the button on the throttle cable goes in. This goes on top. Stock goes under. Also, you can see the little peice I had to grind a little bit, plus you also have to drill the whole in 3mm. You can't see it in that pick because the button is in there.

QUOTE (tanc @ Aug 3 2007, 04:35 PM)
DTN, the knock sensor was always like that since the day I bought the car. Show me a pic of how you want it to be LOL.

That's not the knock sensor. The knock sensor is on the back of the engine and adjusts timing from detonation ping. That's the acelleration sensor, they work together. Knock is pinging from the engine and the acelleration or rough road sensor cancels the signal from the knock sensor if you're on a rough road and adjusts timing for acelleration.

I've never seen one like that before. Usually when people install a strut bar they turn them 180, yours looks like it was turned 90 degrees... This is a pic of mine. You can see it pretty well. I chopped my mount just like yours is to remove the ugly strut bolt hole, but you have a different mount installed on the mount.

There are two versions of the accel sensor, mine is just like tanc's too. I remember someone mentioning this as well on REDZ' accel sensor relocation DIY thread.

very interesting. did you have to cut to get the charge pipes through there that way??

also what size fan do you have on the front of the radiator 12"?? and can you fit two of them up there? I need to take those measurements but have been putting off removing the front bumper.

Thanks HKC

Supercow, Yes, you need to cut a bit to get the charge pipes through there but I didn't want to route them under or around, this is the simplest route for me.

The fan I have there is the AC fan. So which ever size that is. You can fit 2 of them there but you need to cut up the frame around the fan in order to fit 2.

Right now I want to see how one works, than I'll see about adding another one in.

very nice looking btw. fing02.gif

my plan is to put a couple fal or summit fans up there. I have big problems overheating running ac since I've only got one fan (i'm using the a/c fan in the drivers side spot. without ac everything is cool though.

I'm thinking two fans up there and none in the engine bay. Then I should be able to forget about this heat crap even in the hottest conditions. Here in ky it's getting up to 100 recently. I couldn't run a/c unless I was doing better than 45. btw, this problem never reared it head till temperatures outside got past 80 or so. Whats the max it gets to up there? It might never be an issue for you unless you head south.

edit: right now you guys are 20 degree's cooler than here! so you might be able to get by with one fan.
