First off, what are you looking to put a T4 on? Your profile says accent. Even if you have a beta swap, a t4 turbo is too big in my opinion.

Secondly, The only problem I would see with an adapter is pushing the turbo to low to properly drain oil into the pan unless you have a manifold that sits the turbo quite high up.

Yeah I am beta swapped. From some research I have done I was told a T4 would be ok if I kept the boost down low.

a 30r/52lb.min turbo is big for a beta full boost at like 4800rpm, we only rev to 6800. t4 frame turbos wont spool If you want to pick a good size turbo research what some of the guys on here are running and pick accordingly

even with a beta, I would never run a T4 turbo, you will spool so late and then by time the power kicks in, time to shift. I would go with something around a hybrid 50trim or 57trim if you are wanting something bigger than the super 60s or a straight t3.

Aside from bragging rights, what purpose would there be in a having a monstrous turbo in a tib? Let alone on low boost.

Which specific turbo are you looking at and what power goals?
