Stock FPR with Walbro 255 HP
Who out there is running the Walbro 255 HP? Are you running the stock FPR? IF not how did you take it out of the path. Or did you leave it and just put an aftermarket one in line?
Thanks Guy!!!

I don't think you can run the 255 pump with the stock regulator. I would think the flow would over power the stock regulator and your base fuel pressure would spike to like 60-80psi at idle.

You cannot run the stock regulator. You need to buy an aftermarket regulator to replace the stock one, or run a smaller pump like a 190lph. To run an aftermarket regulator, you need to make an adapter to the rail.

Can i just toss a FPR on the Feed side of the rail, then remove the vacuum line off the stock to calculate what it is suppose to be at, then just put a T fitting on that line to the manifold and connect them together to the Manifold for vacuum so they both at WOT?

yeah you can put a 255 in but, you will overrun the fpr. the ecu can compensate for it, but its best not to make the ecu work any harder than it already has to since its seeing boost already.
