So I just took the plunge I have been leaning on for the past 10 months... I bought a turbo tonight. It is a Garrett T-3 Super 60. The topic for it is still in the classifieds. I was debating on boosting for a long time and I saw this, and bam. I just bought it. I don't know why even, just bought it. lol Now I just need 1k + dollars in other parts. This will be a long expensive journey I thinks...

So I felt now that I bought a turbo I have the right to post in this forum. =) Let me know what you guys think!

As long as you do it correctly, shouldn't be too much of a problem. Good luck with it. There are plenty of people that can always help you out and point you in the right direction. What are you aiming for? 200?250?Til you blow it up? LOL

I only want mild boost... Maybe like 7 or 8 pounds. Maybe once I am done though, like 225 ish. So far though...

I need:
Clutch
Flywheel
turbo mani
intercooler
piping
SAFC II or emanage
injectors
possible dual rail setup
BOV
exhaust system
and a lot more

So thats well over 2 right there....

Yes you can. You might wanna to reinforce welds though. I can give you contact information from aguy I was buying my OBX stuff from. He is fast, reliable and can be trusted. Just send me a PM and I'll send you a link to his shop ;-) and his direct e-mail address.
