Well some of the people on here know this info already but I figured I would post and let everyone know.
I took my car back to the dyno on Friday night and put down 407/334 @ 22psi on the new snail. So I took the car to the track on sat for a couple more shakedown runs, I had the camera but my wife wasn't up to filming any of the runs so you will have to just go from my word and I can post time slips later.
The first pass out I bogged off the line since I was getting used to the new slicks, and I ran a 12.5 @ 121 car was defiantly stronger. The second pass was a 12.1 @ 95 since I blew the IC piping off the TB at the top of 3rd, but comparing to the slips from the previous 11.90 runs the car was on it's way to a mid 11 sec pass. So here comes the fun part I fix the piping and head back out for a third pass.
Third pass the burnout was good car was still feeling really strong, I come out the hole pretty strong hit second still feels really good. Get to the top of 2nd and a really big boom and smoke and fire, I got the car stopped got out finally got my helmet off and the hood opened and the entire bay was on fire. The safety crew gets there puts out the fire and then I can see what happened.
I had bent the #4 rod and shot it out the front and back of the block, and the oil spray caught fire, the damage was so so, but once I got a chance to look at the logs I have found the stock rods will fail at around 422whp and what lead to the car over boosting to 26psi was the shitty Profec but you live and learn.
I picked up a complete 1.8 motor yesterday and the Wiesco Pistons and Pauter rods will be by the end of the week, the new motor will be back from the machine shop mid next week and back in the car from there, I will break it in on the dyno and then throw around 30-35psi at the motor for some serious power.
I will post some carnage pics later on today.
****EDIT****
Here is the links to the pictures, warning I left these pics huge so you can see the damage.

/\ Yeah I was always wondering when the stock rods would go, and now I know. lmao.gif It would have been better if the car hadn't caught fire but oh well.

damn that rod must have been corked out of there!!! glad the damage didn't spread but it's a shame to know it happened. hope you get it all fixed and better than before... i would love to see a video of one of your runs, but i believe it.
you better know your limits!! 21.1 is insane man. is the car street legal? not a sleeper anymore is it.

BADASS
not only are you going to have awesome pics to show, but it also forces you to build the motor up even more.
4xx is incredible for stock rods too. who woulda thought a little economy 4 cylinder had components like that?
