so www.sharkracing.com recently put up some new turbo kits for most of (or all) Tiburons. Can anyone offer me any input on these things? As far as I can tell, they seem pretty solid though, i'm new to turbos and such so any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

looks pretty, but sr doesnt necessarily have the greatest reputation for customer service or quality products.

i wonder why you cant pay for it with a credit card. they probably dont want chargebacks happening.

At least they take care to mention certain things and include certain things, like an auto transmission cooler, and the fact that the injectors need splicing.

I saw them and kept my mouth shut, but I should have known they would show up here.

Here's some things for ya to ponder...

1. The cheapest kit is $2950 for a manual and $3150 for a Auto. There's no written reason for the change in price.

2. It has NO FUEL MANAGEMENT or other electronics.

3. It's made by System GTR, they don't make the best quality products out there, but they aren't horrible either. http://www.system-upgrade.co.kr/index.php?.../eng_product_s1 See? The actual kit from System has more than the SR one, and I belive is actually cheaper elsewhere.

4. This was the same kit that Rick was going to sell. http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=8482&st=40 He was offering them for $500 to $800 cheaper, with the electronics.

5. Shark racing makes NO parts involved in that kit but claims they are all "Shark Racing" products as usual.

1. The cheapest kit is $2950 for a manual and $3150 for a Auto. There's no written reason for the change in price.

This is taken from the SR website:

Stage 1 (manual transmission) --> US$2950, including shipping
Stage 1 (auto transmission) --> US$3150, including shipping

Stage 1 components

IHI Turbine
Intercooler
Shark Racing Blow-Off Valve
Stainless Steel Turbo Manifold
Stainless Steel Exhaust Diffuser
Stainless Steel Exhaust Down-pipe
Transmission Oil Cooler (auto transmission only)
Intake/Intercooler Piping
290CC Fuel Injectors (injectors are not direct fit, and will need splicing to fit)
Stainless Steel Braided Oil Lines
Silicone Couplers
Silicone Vacuum Hoses
Clamps

So I guess that's why the auto kit is more expensive.
