just installed the secondary fuel rail and injectors.

I am having two major problems.

1st problem:

1. I connected positive wires from secondary injectors to the positive wires of OEM injectors.

2. Since I haven't installed my SMT6 on my car, I left the ground wire( to SMT6 wire) not connected to SMT6.

3. So my secondary injectors are connected to the positive wire of OEM injectors, and SMT6 wire not connected.

4. OK. I started the car, it barely idles. engine idles like when you put MAF sensor backwards.(of course my MAF was right direction at that time)

5. I disconnected the secondary injector plugs from the secondary injectors ( disconnected from OEM injector positive wire = secondary injectors are not connected in any way.)

6. Idles fine with disconnected secondary injectors from OEM injector connection

7. Any suggestion?

2nd problem:

1. now my secondary injectors are not connected and only my OEM injectors are working because I pull the plug of the secondary injectors out.

2. started the car, and drove around.

3. when I hit a gas pedal, the pedal doesn't return like when I use cruise control.

4. when I floor the gas, the pedal stuck to the floor and car revs like crazy becaues it is stuck to the floor and stays WOT.

5. I checked the TB, but nothing seemed wrong I guess and checked the cruise and gas cables and adjusted in everyway, but nothing changed.

6. it never happened before I put the secondary fuel rail spacer.

7. Any suggestion?

Your first problem would probably go away once the ground wire to the SMT-6 would be attached I imagine.

Second I'd still go over the throttle cable and make sure its adjusted properly and that its not getting caught and that it sits on the TB properly.

ummmm.... ugh.gif speechless.gif

1st problem:

- your SMT-6 is not connected

2nd problem:

- re check your accelerator cables, tps harness and iac harness... something was not installed back correcty
- if a cel is present... it will be a clue

haha I will check tomorrow morning. it is too dark and cold outside now! lol

There's no CEL, and all sensor connection were double checked.

When I hit the gas, I feel that something is blocking the pedal and then it's stuck.

I guess the cable and the pully hit the cable harness mounted on the firewall as you can see the picture.

P.S. hey john! did you get my email with the scanned diagram?

1st problem. Sounds like your negative wires are grounded out or you tapped some positive and some negative wires and your injectors complete the circuit spraying an odd amount of fuel.

2nd problem. Easy, i had the exact same friggin problem; your going to love me, your cruise pulley is hitting the firewall/main harness, remove the cruise pulley, problem solved.

your welcome wink1.gif

I only connected one wire from the secondary injector to the positive side of the OEM injector (postivie side is the passenger side wire <---right?)

The SMT6 wire which is ground is not connected at all.

I got my secondary 440 cc injectors from here.

Do you guys know which side is postive for this 440cc injectors from the link?

I assumed that the left side(passenger side when you put this injectors same location and direction as the OEM ones)

looks like you got the wrong wire hooked up from the stock injectors disconnect the 4 of them, put the key on and check wich one has 12 volts
or you could ge t12 volts from the underhood fuse box

move the wire harness, that will leave room for the cruise control, don't drive the car until this issue is fixed

not to b**** around but it's the reason why we sell our spacer kits with instructions ;-)
