Safe psi?
No SMIC. You can't just flip it around. Engine Bay is totally different between the cars. I'd get a custom one from Tim for $400.00 that would easily be enough for your PSI needs. I would get the Exhaust Manifold off of him as well.
The T3 is a nice turbo for our cars. Its not an uber-powerful turbo by any means. But it spools relatively early, and creates nice power. I prefer humongous turbos, but they wouldn't work on Tibs that well because they have bad low-end torque, especially with a turbo setup. I think T3 makes full boost like 2500 rpm at full throttle. Very fast power.
You'll learn that the smaller the turbo, generally the less efficient it is and the more heat it creates. So running a T3 makes it imperative that you lower the temparatures before it enters the engine.
