Okay, a LOT of folks have expressed interest in several expen$ive group buys.
#1. Forged Pistions/Forged rods
#2. Quaife Limited Slip Differential.
In talking with various people, several important points were brought up.
#1. Most people cannot afford both group buys, assuming they were run at the same time.
#2. With forged rods/pistions, the engine will be capable of 600+ Hp...however the stock differential will have problems in the 300's. So we really sort of need to do the LSD group buy before the Piston/Rod Group buy.
So...I have some Questions for folks.
Prices won't be set in stone untill we know how many people we have who are interested. A range of costs is included in the poll.
A side note to the Quaife LSD Group Buy. If we can get 20 orders, Quaife will MAKE a Beta Specific part. Folks with Delta V6's are welcome to join.

That would be coming with the Rod/pistons. I just left it out for the sake of simplicity.

just to make an argument for the piston/rod group buy
Its better to have a turbo running at 300... than an LSD running at 140...
i say piston/rods first... than LSD
I dont mind being stuck at 300 in the meantime...

**** man, I didn't think about it like that. Change my vote to reflect that Random.just to make an argument for the piston/rod group buy

LOL
Serious, that makes more sence. If ZIMSTIB is too hectic at 300, I won't want to go higher anyways.

Folks, Keep in mind, the stock differential has blown with as little as 225WHP.
A 140 HP car with a LSD is going to be a lot more fun to drive than a 300 WHP car with no LSD. Your stock clutch isn't going to handle 300 WHP. So while you replace the clutch, you might as well replace the LSD. (and flywheel if you have a mind to)

I'm with Tony on this and the differential, problem for me is that I may not be able to afford it till mid year... but I too feel the differential is more beneficial... now a days most of you are not considering building a CUSTOM TURBO anyways, hence most are waiting on the alpine and CNK KITS... well the CNK kits come with pistons already that as per Chris will hold 300+ whp... and keep in mind that most of you will not be looking for more than 300 whp then your stock rods will hold... but will the differential...
See that's what you have to consider...

But random...
When they replace the pistons, they will have to remove the block... thats when they switch the clutch... since they will already be in there
At 140... i dont think the LSD will make much of a difference, since the power transfer will be minimal due to the lack of the hYuNdaI pOwEr
Plus a lot of people arent willing to go past the 300 mark due to the stand alone unit they will also have to buy
