faithofdragon?
my suggestion is strengthening the engine.
Your suggestion is keep persisting with OEM and standard parts.
and keep pushing it over 300hp until something breaks?
Our cars are not Nissan rb30 engines that can push 400hp on OEM form.
Cooper gasket cracked at 20psi, 330hp, arp head bolts, modified head etc.
Because if I knew beforehand that cooper and oem gaskets are rated at only 10-16psi Maximum.
I wouldn't have pushed the engine that much.

anyways yes i am persistant with keeping OEM parts why? cuz they will work and are cheap MANY people have pushed stock rods to large hp ratings just ask gary i think hes on stock rods forged rods are 700 dollars or more where as some shot peened rods would run you like 100 bux hell you can get em magnafluxed, balanced and polished for around the same price if not a little more
and he never said pushing OVER 300 he said he wanted 300
on your car you mean to tell me you had 20psi and only 330hp? damn i wonder why i think your tuners are morons maybe its cuz you have forged low comp pistons AND a 3mm gasket which would lower compression even more than the original rating from the piston manufacture
and your sig says your runnin 16psi and 335hp...

I would have to agree with Faithofsomedragon'smama on this one...
go with stock rods, ARP bolts. Unless you are trying to beat A.P.E.! wink1.gif
