Default Random!! Alpine Turbo Kit!

I have a question regarding the Alpine Turbo Kit!!!!
I wanted to change all the piping to a bigger size would it make a difference in performance.
If im not mistaken i believe the piping that comes with the kit is 2 inches in diamater!!
Also the downpipe is 2.5 inches and if i was to install a 3 inch mandrel bend system would i have to change to a 3 inch downpipe as well? Thanks!!

There is not point in changing the piping on the pressurised side of the turbo. All you are doing is increaseing the volume that the turbo must fill and then pressurize before you see boost. The 2" diameter piping is sufficent.

For the exhaust, you don't HAVE to change the downpipe to 3", but it would help, yes.
