Yeah it was answered above that I was using the 2 together so I could have enough fuel and to be able to make it smooth.

so it wouldnt be a good idea to just run with an safc without a fmu?

Yes you can, I just expirement with my to see what works then I intergrate it into my kits. If you look at my Extreme Kit it uses 340cc with only the SAFC, and that kit is good to 12-13psi. I was using the FMU to push the limits of the injectors to the 17psi mark.

oh ok.. so if i wanted to boost over 12-13 psi with the setup you got then i would need a fmu to get more fuel correct?

and also how come you dont include an msd in your kits?
