Default radiator size

hi all,

my accent as you know is turbo'd. Now due to room i am only running the standard full size radiator, would i be better adapting something like this to my car where i know it will fit... I would want the 3 row... and fit a an extra push through fan on the front...

Interested in the answers to this aswell. Some memebers here have gone to the civic rad and just bumped up the width, I was thinking of doing the same. Backed out of a drive a year ago, scraped and bent the sh*t out of my rad. Thinking the Honda size might be a nice fit since our aftermarket support is only KOYO and they are insane price.

I was looking at this one, http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...kworks_racing/

Blackworks makes fans to suite aswell.

There is a few people who do the aluminium radiators for hyundais, admitably there dearer than ones for honda's but can be brought for about 200.00US. The freight is the killer for me as i'm in australia. Also the turbo manifold I have is a very good one but with the turbo on I'm only about 10mm of the face of the radiator and thats a standard size. That also means I cannot fit a whole fan the side the turbo is so there is a massive area where the turbo actually boils the water in the radiator and on a hill climb its no good Going by the measurements of the civic radiator it should be a near on drop in affair. a 56mm half size radiator though is like a double row full size so I still think im going the right waY.

There might be a custom bottom hose needed, but I was already going to make a set of stainless steel solid hoses anyways.

The one that i posted a link too, would that aluminium shroud that bolts the fan onto the radiator, would that improve the flow characteristics?

Cheers Ryan.

Fan shrouds properly done help quite a lot. If there is still no room behind the new radiator, you might theoretically be missing out on some performance but a pusher fan is better than boiling coolant.

see my issue is that I still have my AC Condenser in so there is not much room at all, and most fans wont fit in there.
