Questions about a temporary alternative to boost.
Ok I am usually a quite sceptical person, but since they have ads on this very respectable website, I thought I would ask if anyone here has ever tried this : http://www.turbonator.com/index.html?id=adWordsTiburon.
First, I know this has NOTHING to do with a turbo, or any real boost power adder. If I had the money, I plan on getting the Speed Factor turbo kit, but currently money does not flow as much as I would want it to, and I cannot consider it an option right now. So I started looking for cheap alternative ways to gain some power to make those new lowering springs, strut bars and 17" inch rims work a bit.
Second, I do not beleive in Santa Claus, unfortunatly, and when I see things like that

The Turbonator is much less expensive and more efficient than any turbocharger, supercharger, blower, or intercooler
written on the main page, I can't help myself thinking they don't have a clue of what they are talking about. Then again, if it would give anywhere near half the 35hp they promise, I would be happy with it, so I am simply curious about you guy's opinion on this.RaDiOhEaD

You are correct!! This is junk, don't waste your money. If you want a lot of power on a budget, look at some nitrous kits.
P.S., this thing reminds me of the kid that tried to put a leaf blower in his intake. lol.gif
newbies who dont read stickies when they join a site frustrate me

You must be talking about the ad in the google advertising stream on the main page. Don't think because it's in there we approve of it. You may see something from it, but nothing spectacular. Why don't you try out the DEI CryO2 kit or something, at least after you get your real turbo you can buy the intercooler cooler.

I said in my original message that I wondered because they were advertising on your website had not noticed it was a third party random ad. I think that was a very useless bash, could have just not answered if it was bothering that much. Thanks anyway for the other answers laugh.gif .
I don't think that Dweet meant to bash you like you think.
We have a problem with people posting stuff that has been covered numerous times and frankly, it is just a waste of bandwidth.
This IS covered in the sticky so Dweet DID point you in the correct direction.
