thanks Jaws

nah im not even getting a haltech i'm going with a Link Plus standalone,
(which i got dissed for on HP) i just wanted to know some of the problems to watch for associated with the beta engine, my tuner says all will go sweet but if he runs into a problem i want to have a clue or idea how to get around or solve it.

(as someone told me there that there were bugs in the Haltech that needed to be fixed)

I take it your going turbo?

hit me back when you get your install done good luck wink.gif

I havent heard of any...

Well the install was postponed...
We under estimated the accuracy of the terminated harness

We are going to do all the cut and splicing within the next week or so, and hopefully be able to tackle this again the next weekend after

hay Jaws

when i asked about my link system on Hp i got this reply.

Check in Seoul "It took alot of time to work out the bugs for the Haltech install on the Beta engine"

so i assume there are bugs maby? or just a difficult install?

When i asked for what problems no more replys were made so i don't realy know.

So when you get it done tell me of any problems you face etc...

cheers, 8)

just remember you need a motronic ecu. the e6k's are non-motronic unless you specify that. the e6x is all motronic so there is no worries on that one, the e11 i think is the one that they are working the bugs out of.

i sent my e6k back to haltech 4 months ago and it just now got to them for the motronic chip...

YEEEAAAAA... i will have it back in 2 weeks.. i am getting closer and closer to having a fast car.

so i hope in 3 weeks i will have the haltech installed along with the clutch, fly wheel, pistons and rods.

all i need now is the quaife and the new axles....mmmmm... boost
