Don't see why not.

The 1.8 crank will fit perfectally. The only thing you need to change out is your rods. You will need to buy a custom set.

Sorry, by custom, I mean special order. You will either need a shop to take measurements for you, or if you feel comfortable, take them yourself.

The easiest way is to install the 1.8 crank with a 2.0 rod and piston. Take the piston up to TDC and measure the distance from the top of the block to the top of the piston.

ie. Say you get 3mm. Call up crowler and explain that you need rods for a 2001 hyundai tiburon but you need them made 3mm longer.

It wont be cheap, but thats how you do it fing02.gif

looks nice. have fun. dont ya think u should make sure it runs first? before adding heavy mods to it, such as internals with compression differences and electric such as ignition (msd). the swap itself may stump you a bit. IMO, get it in and running before heavily modding it.

Now why would you make sure it runs before you tear it appart? I mean come on!
