but do people ever supercharge and turbocharge their cars together? if so why would they do that? you would think its more efficient to just turbocharge it and leave it at that.

Some people have, and some cars even come with it from the factory (rarely). The advantage is that the supercharger helps the turbo spool faster and pretty much eliminates turbo lag. Is it worth doing? IMO no.

compounding boost will work....if you have a v8 with the ability to keep everything cool(look at the hellion turbo kits for the cobras, they have a front mount intercooler and a water cooler after the s/c)

will it work on a 4 cylinder?

dont even bother theres no way to cool the s/c charge

I dont know of any Tibby with turbo and supercharger, But i do have a buddy who has a purpose built drag Talon and he calls it a twin charge, dont know if that is a technical name for it, but it is a 8 psi supercharger and he is running a gt40 turbo at 15 psi so together he gets 24 psi of boost but doesnt have to worry about turbo lag at the line, like you woould if you were just trying to spool 24psi off a turbo only. So it has its reasonings but i would never do it. Sounds really cool and unique if you can ever hear one!

twin charging. it's nice but i'd have to be really convinced of how it works. but from what i know it offers minimal offerings.
