If you had 220KW you would have 164HP

HP-->KW multiply by .7457

HP-->Watts multiply by 745.7

not really.

1 KWT is 1.36 HP

simply multiply KTW by 1.36.

btw, you can have KWT from crank, from wheels.

I've always used the following:

1kW = 1.341hp (roughly)

1hp = 0.746kW (roughly)

bhp just means brake horsepower, i.e.: horsepower at the engine/crank/flywheel (someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

So... Whatever kW number you got needs to be multiplied by 1.341 to get the hp number.

If you are wanting to convert hp numbers into kW, you just need to divide the number by 1.341 (or multiply by 0.746).

For example: 172kW = 172 x 1.341 = 230.6hp

Another example: 214hp = 214 / 1.341 = 159.6kW
