I am looking to run a low boost set up, trying to stick with stock internals if possible to get like 5 psi on my tib considering it is my DD. Any reliable set ups that you are currently running would be useful, and also anyone that would like to give some input on a low boost set up that would be reliable ranging from 5-10 psi on some changes would also be helpful.

this should probly be in power adders but whatever. I have been talking with SOCKS about a low boost setup. iv been looking at a setup similar to his but also unique it its own ways. heres my shopping list for the future.... the way future

garett t3 super 60

log style manifold
dual fuel rail setup (inluding, dual rail gasket, rail, injectors)
HKS SSQV BOV
Emanage blue
Barrel style water to air intercooler
south bend clutch
fidanza flywheel
and the rest i haven't gotten to

the reason... i have to pass emissions. i can get by with no CELs if i turn off the fuel maps and coast to marta. (in theory)

hope this helps a lil bit

Why the water IC? And with a low boost setup (if you plan to keep it that way) you wouldnt even really need an intercooler. Or fuel pump and a few other things. A reliable low boost setup should be reachable for under 2 grand pretty easily.

^^^ its unique, safe, and in some cases more efficient. and its swEEEEEEEEEt. lol

i was thinking 6-14 psi.... the relatively low boost. and something about not intercooling rubs me wrong.

OK for 14, then I understand. But for someone wanting to keep it at about 6 or so it would be fine.

ok so, once again for my set up I only want to push like 6 psi considering it is my DD. What kind of turbo do you think I should run, and fuel management.

Either a super 60 or maybe even go with a mitsubishi turbo. 14b would be plenty for you I would think.

Ok so if I was running a super 60, with stock internals, for the fuel management what would I go with?
ok so the list
Headers-what kind? OBX welds reinforced, with or with out external westgate?
FPR
front mount IC-not needed but would like
piping
2.5" exhaust and down pipe
megasquirt system
turbo timer gauges and other gauges
Greedy type RS BOV
ACT Street clutch
Lightweight Flywheel

opinions? Just be honest with me and state it, tell me what you think would be better options on some things.

megasquirt would work good for you. Actually that whole list looks really good. And you could pretty easily push 8-10 pounds safely. Id say get some Ford 440 injectors and a 190 or 255lph fuel pump and you should be set. internally gated turbo would be fine for you but you could do external.

if you have to pass emissions... its gunna be tuff. dual rail is the easiest for me b/c of that.
