Thanks Denisst. Like I said this thing wont go in without being perfect. I dont want to have to redo anything.

The Beta2 block must be a different casting when compared to the Beta1. I have TONS of rod to block clearance throughout the whole stroke. No notching needed! smile.gif
On a side note the re-chamferred Pauter rods fit like a glove and now don't bind! smile.gif

Mine is a Beta2. And I thought theres plenty of room but Im double and triple checking of course.

depends on each block
i've seen some interference on beta2 and 1
some close calls on beta2
and some mucho clearance on beta2

you really need to check it for each engine and each cylinders
