Ok guys , im trippin out a lil.
I had bought a used T3 off of ebay . I was just gonna throw a new center section on it and be done with it , i got the turbo for 100$ and from what the auction had listed as it was a .45a/r series garrett t3.


well.... I just got it in the mail and i about freaked when i saw the stampings on it and saw how much of a snail shell it made my mitsu te04h turbo look!

The compressor side is stamped .48a/r and the exuast side is stamped .89a/r !!!!!!!

The turbo has NO shaft play, NO cracks, has 3in. downpipe elbow already attached and is external wastegate .

This turbo is in PERFECT shape ! minus the dirt and crap all over it but its about to get the dremol tool treatment smile.gif

This is not exactly what i had bidded on but hell , its a steal in my book, but i just wanted to get some feedback on how this size turbo will do on a turbo prepped tibby.(ceramic coated external wastegate header/downpipe, 3in. exuast, front mount fimic, 440cc inj, safc, ect. ect.)

still have stock pistons so only gonna be runnin around 7-8psi of boost , just wondering what characteristics this size turbo will bring on my setup?
