Default Ok..need a low-psi parts list!!!

Ok heres my deal...I drive a 2001 Tiburon, wanna go for a very simple and low-boost custom turbo setup, and have a a thousand bucks to spend for now just to get things started...Im JUST looking to get something going in my car that can be upgraded as I wish and I dont wanna intercool right away. I already have a t3/t4 hybrid turbo but nothing else. Would you guys be able to help me out with some sort of "parts list" to assist me in setting up a basic system?..I was thinking about the CNK manifold, but is there something cheaper/easier. Also about the compression ratio..should this be lowered even on a low-boost setup, or is there an actual psi rating beyond which the stock internals cannot hold up? And I know an ECU is pretty much mandatory for high-performance setups, but I just want something that works..not something that gives me tons of power..and LASTLY,.. at what psi rating is it neccesary to replace piston rings/rods..Im really excited about getting something going soon, and ALL help is greatly appreciated.. thanks!

If you take a minute to search, you'll find more than enough info. One thing I would do right away is drop that turbo for something smaller if you want low boost.

Dude the parts list is basically the same as every other parts list for a turbo setup. It doesn't matter. The first part that I would suggest is the book "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. That book will tell you just about everything that you need to know, and then some.

Just my $.02

Ok, i searched for you since you obviously arent very inclined to do things for yourself.

http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/noncgi/u...c;f=39;t=000076
http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/noncgi/u...c;f=39;t=000001
http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/noncgi/u...c;f=39;t=000033

Really good ones:

http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/cgi-bin/...c;f=39;t=000047

This one even has a complete parts list:
http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/cgi-bin/...c;f=39;t=000030
http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/noncgi/u...c;f=39;t=000014

Sorry if i'm coming off as an *** , cause I am, but searching isnt that hard to do. There is nothing special that the tibby needs compared to other cars to turbocharge it.

dude, you didn't search. one of the posts with the complete parts list was started by you. wtf need someone to come hold your hand while you install the turbo? wink if you read the book and walked away knowing anything from it, you wouldn't have said that because it didn't specifically mention hyundai tiburons, it didn't help you. read it again. s**t, i'm only through the first two chapters, and already i've learned more than i've ever read on the boards. or at least the information is in a more concise format.

::edit::

also, if you've read ANYTHING on the boards about turbocharging the BETA engine on stock compression, you'll know that you definiately need an intercooler. and maximum boost would have left you with the same knowledge, if you READ it, not skimmed over it. well, you don't need an intercooler...if you want serious detonation problems.
