do you have a digital camera? definitely post some pics up.
what do you guys think about starting the engine up right after the turbo has been bolted up on 87 fuel? and how about the same when the computer isn't tuned?

NO, that is your feed line. One end connects to the turbo and the other to the engine block. A lot of ppl hook up to the oil pressure sensor. The Black rubber hose is the return line. That goes from the bottom of the turbo to the oil pan.

Yes. The -4AN connectors (thin line) is your oil feed/supply line. As for the rubber hose...it could either be the coolant line (if the turbo is water-cooled) or the oil return/drain line. Dunno what type of turbo, nor am I going to bother attempting to find out...b/c I'm that lazy...but it sounds like Double_A knows...so I'll assume it's not a water cooled turbo, and it's a simple oil drain line.

word of warning on the return line. When you tap the pan for it.. make sure it is ABOVE the normal oil level. The oil that comes out of a turbo is more akin to a cream than a liquid and will back up and blow a seal in the turbo if it has to fight against the thicker oil in the pan.

You're putting this in yourself right now and you don't know if you have a water/oil cooled turbo or where to feed it from?
Search dude. It's on the head.
