I'm drawing the oil from the head. Its on the right hand side of the head (assuming that I'm looking from the bumper) and it is kinda above the thermostat. I saw a bunch of guys on here have it at the same spot.

yah i was just making sure you were using a low pressure source, if you were tapping from the pressure sender without a restrictor it could have been a source of the oil (too much pressure blowing by the oill seals)

i think its tapped off the head if i remember.

wow i think i had this thread sitting to long and u both beat me. nevermind

i got the same problem with my car, it just started blowing blue smoke a bit, when i shift after boosting.. i duno why.. i got low pressure oil from head, and i have a return line with NO possible kinks and like 1000 miles on a new turbo..

so my question, since this is a similar topic, why the hell would i be blowing blue puffs of smoke when shifting under boost, with a non kinked return line, and low pressure feed, and roughly new turbo?

my oil is leaking from my pan, and the return fitting in the pan, but that cant cause the smoke out of the exhaust.. help lol.

^^^ How much oil have you been losing? I haven't been losing that much according to the dipstick but there is oil all over my downpipe right beneath the pan. Have you been getting the oil pressure light on the dash socks?

Anyway, I still haven't found the oil leak, but I did find why my turbo was acting funny with boost and why the blow off valve wasn't work, etc. One of the screws on the turbine housing wound itself out while driving. Apparantley I missed it when I check to make sure all the bolts were tight.

If you've got oil on the outside, then you need to check all your hoses and the oil pan seal. Clean up the area really well, then go drive it just for a few seconds and come back to check it again.
If you still can't find it, then go get some oil dye. You can put a black light in the area and the stained oil will be flourescent.
If the turbo bearings were burned up, then you'd see oil coming out an exhaust flange, but most likely you'd get a better sign by continuous smoke from the tailpipe.
