I am getting my oil to the turbo from the side of the head. Anyway I was wondering if anyone else has been restricting the oil pressure from this spot or if I should be?

you should not have to do a restrictor from the side head.

what turbo do you exactly have though?

like john said above, you don't need a restrictor for that location.
It is your bad turbo seals or improper PCV setup which cause oil blowing to the exhaust and intake pipe.

the oil pressure is already lower due to a built-in restrictor in the block... but you could always do a total of 2 90 degree fittings on the opposite sides of the oil feed line just to be sure

I have the same turbo at the moment and i actually have intially ran it's feed line from the block and it ran fine for over a year. I just had to swap the oil feed to the head because i needed to install the oil pressure sending unit at it's old location

as for quoting... just hit the "quote" button of the post you wanna quote and when you "add reply" all the quotes will show up

^^^ I've got the 90 degree fittings on the line already so I guess that shouldn't be a problem anymore.

How should my pcv be set up? I'm not even sure what the pcv is.

You can leave the PCV Valve hooked up to the IM as is... it's a one way valve and it'll resist boost. The breather (the port right beside it, driver side) have to be disconnected from the intake elbow (plug/clamp, the hose from the intake elbow though, so you wont lose boost). Now you can route that breather into a catch can if you want.

^^^ I've got the pcv problem solved. Don't have it connected to a catch can yet though.
