Default Oil change intervals with turbo applications?

Seems like the condition of my oil drastically declines after about 3k miles so that’s when I change it. But every set up and condition is different, and I know you should keep an eye on your oil and make the call. With the miles I put on I average an oil change every 8-10 weeks. I run full Syn. I’d like to get more miles between changes but I just don’t think it’s smart or worth it. Some guys are anal and change every 1-2k miles but I think that’s a little excessive in most cases and for the amount I drive I would be changing the oil every month.

How often do some of you boosted folks change your oil?

As long as you use a good quality full syn oil you don't need to change your oil any more often. Full syn oil does not degrade like regular mineral based oil.

Every 2,000 miles the turbo tib will get fresh Mobil1 syn and a Hyundai Oil Filter. I don't put many miles on it as I drive a couple other cars from time to time, so 2,000 miles takes me anywhere from 2-5 months depending on its use.
