I don't know, give me your gauge and probe and I'll find out. fing02.gif
Temps vary on different setups.

basically, there is no hard and fast rule with them. The temp is going to vary with how rich or lean your car gets as you drive. If I remember correctly, the temp will go down with a rich condition and raise when it is running lean,, don;t quote me though.

where do you have the probe? in the manifold? if so which cyl? in the downpipe? how far from the turbo housing?
i have a log style manifold the probe is in the center its not to far from the turbo housing about 6 to 8 inches... i know that there is all kinds of things that are gonna determine this temp... im mostly concerned with how hot is to hot ... im going soon to have it tuned so .... i have to drive the highway for about an hour to get to to the dyno it seems to be running smooth now but i havent really drove it that far yet it will probably be better on it than the stop n go traffic around here though

As said, different gauges from different companies will read different temperatures in different places.
Best thing to do is get it dyno tuned and see what your EGT temp is when your running where you want to be (12.5:1 A/F, etc.). If you start seeing the temp go way above that mark, you pull over and let the fans do their job.

Well just to give you an example.
I am using a log style manifold. I have autometer probe in the first exaust port runner. My air fuel ratio is 11:5:1. My egt temps when I am full throttle are around 1550. I would try to keep them around there. As 1650 and above will result in engine damage.
Ps @ idle I am around 9 partial throttle driving I am around 12.5-14
Hope this helps
