It'll suck if you spend like 130 bucks to get it to work and could've got a Carsound hi-flow for 80.00. What I ran on my GSX for a while was this, relocated the cat for better flow... I saw no diff when I took the cat off:

The exhaust hits it going straight and slides right through it easily.

? Does that allow the cat to get warm enough to function? The reason the cat is usually right off the downpipe is because it needs the heat to convert the pollutants.

good point casper, and I have something in the place of my old cat so I cant put a high-flow down there.

If your running stainless steel and maybe mild steel it should keep the heat long enough for the gas to travel another foot or two. Either way, running that one hi-flow down there I didn't throw a CEL, without it I did. I needed some major wire extension though. smile.gif

we'll see if I can fix the CEL in the 1st place, if I can't then I'll just get a cat.
