Simple. My thread with Q's while I get through instaling my turbo. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Ok, so I'm gonna be going turbo here in the next few weeks, but I want to do a few small things before the big project of tearing the front of the car apart. I've already started on the gauges, they will be done in the next few days, but I was wondering if I could put the new fuel pump in now with everything still stock. That would save some time and headache if I can get that thing in and running right BEFORE we tackle the main turbo components.

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else, but I am late for work and wanted to try to find out today. No timey for searchy.

well mang you could install it but it depends on which fuel pump

if you got the 255 probably not cuz youll need a aftermarket regulator

if its anythin else go for it

Yeah David, its a 255 LPH pump. Well, damn. Buy the way, am I gonna need a regulator once I get the larger injectors and such? The mechanic who is gonna help me with the project said I might not need one. What are your thoughts....

Not to astronomical, between 220-270 WHP. I figure thats about what Airborne is running with this ECU and I modeled some of my setup after his. I am using a smaller turbo though, so my numbers wont be so high, but, it should be responsive as hell which is what I want. Something real quick of the line.

since so many DSM parts are interchangable will the stock DSM FPR work? If thats the case look into getting Full Throttle Spreed AFPR, they're a direct bolt on. Either way though, definately get an FPR.

Sure thing. smile.gif smile.gif

T3 42/.48 50 Trim, oil/water cooled, internal gate
OBX Manifold
Ford Green Top 440CC injectors
255 LPH Walboro style fuel pump
2.5" intercooler piping
28x10x3 intercooler bar/plate style
Greddy BOV
AIRRAM
RSIDE BBTB
Turbo Decompression Plate (Same as Airborne and Tibmin)
Airborne's ECU swap
POSSIBLY a piggyback to help dial everything in perfectly, not sure though...

I wasn't looking for a HP monster, but something very driveable with a lot of punch off the line. It ought to spool up pretty quick, but I know I will end up choking at the top.

Thats all I can think of at the moment. I'll be using Airborne's ECU swap, if he'll ever get back with me, HINT HINT HINT!!!! I need to order it pronto, but he needs to return at least one of my PM's HINT HINT HINT!!!! LOL If you read this, I got the money and the specs, so let me know.

I do need to know what heat rating of spark plug I need to get. What are other people using who have roughly the same specs as I do? Also, let me know where to get them so I can get them ordered and on their way.

Nice looking setup...

Everything looks good!!! as it was mentioned, you should do the fuel pump and fpr before the turbo. Also, you are working on the guages already, so that's good but btw, which guages are you putting in? coz some of them can you'll have to wait until the turbo components are on for it to be functional/useful... but otherwise they are just for show (ex: boost guage)

Oh, you should think about upgrading you clutch now if you haven't yet... it will be more efficient to do it now, rather than wait until the turbo stuff are in place. I guarantee you 101% would be turning up the boost/hp and you wanna make sure that the clutch is up to the task.

As for the sparkplugs, one step colder (NGK's BKR6E) is good enough for your goal(s) and it can be installed before the big job.
