Sharkev, does that sound sound like a leak, or is it a metal on metal sound. I don't know what "suuuuiiiiiiiooooooo" sounds like. In all honesty it sound like an excerpt from a kung-fu movie.

If it's a leaking sound, like air escaping, I would check all hoses and connections to make sure there is no boost leak. Get a friend or someone to maybe rev your engine a little while you listen under the hood, as it could be only under boost that the problem happens.

If it is metal to metal......... you're in trouble. Take it back to the guy that "fixed" it.

And OT I know, but I will be running the TD05H 14B turbine on my 2.0L very shortly. I bought Dweet's little setup.

Aight I'm going to try and give this post a shot.

What is your normal psi? and what is it running at now?

It is hard to determine your problem with the little info you have given.

Normally and its supose ti be at 5 psi.... but with that noise it does not make any psi......

give this post a shot, please... maybe you can guess waht could be the problem............

what more info I can give??....

Yes...... the sound is like a leak.... but i couldnt fine a "leak".... its not like metal to metal sound...... and maybe the suuuuiiiiiiioooo its not the right descripction....... maybe its more like woooooouuuuuuuuiiiiiiii...........i dont know... Itry to record the sound and post it ......

I will try a check.... but if is not a leak, what could be???

Really sounds like a boost leak... are you absolutely sure you don't have a leak?

heh well by the sound your trying to describe i'd say the bov was just letting everything escape into the atmosphere and at only 5 psi on a t25 its not going to be a whole lot of air to make it more distinct. but it would explain the loss of boost.

I would hope he could distinguish a leak between a BOV... and he isn't making boost when the sound happens so the turbo isn't "spooling." And a T25 wouldn't spool @ 3500 anyway. Those suckers make boost extremely fast.

I think because you are running such low boost pressure, the leak is just letting all the boost the turbo is creating out of the charge piping. Like Tim said. CHECK EVERY POSSIBLE CONNECTION. Then do it again.
