Little update, i got all my new freeze plugs installed and sealed, installed the water pump piping that i had painted, installed the dipstick i had painted, and i was messing around and decided im going to use studs for the oil pan, just for the fact to align the bolts to the holes with the rtv and gasket it wont be a mess, it will slide on smooth and just bolt them up!! hopefully sometime this week im going to drop the pistons and rods in, had to order a few things so delay sucks...

heres some pics

Update, over the last few days ive gotton alot done, gapped the new piston rings them installed them, new rod bearings, dropped them in, installed oil pump, alternator, all my pulleys, installed the oil pan, rear main seal, all the motor mounts and brackets assembled. I have the k spec front and rear poly mounts but for the passenger mount i poly filled the insides, the thing is so stiff now, it is as sturdy as the k specs, also did a few touch ups on the block, torqued all the bolts down to specs, cleaned things up and what not. Well the block is done now moving on to the head, i will post ALOT of pics tomrow

Just something to think about...I used a obx crank pully for awhile(no harmonic balancer) ,and it took out my oil pump twice! , since I reinstalled my stock one with the balancer, Ive had zero issues....Just something to think about.
