So many of you may know i have been turboed for a while now, and paid to get my car tuned. hence the reason i refused to up the boost for so long, but now its time to up the boost.
I am currently at 5.813 psi, and when my new wastegate spring comes in next week i will be at 10.1 psi.
For those of you who are going to caution me about boosting this high on my build 11:1 compression. i aint sared, im more excited.
dyno vids to come, like really im going to tape everything this time so when something blows up i will have it on tape.
mad.gif seriously regret not taping when my auto tranny blew.

i have total faith in my tuner, but as we all know even good parts fail.
and to bring up another note, really try to talk to the person thats going to tune your car. i have been to 2 or 3 different places that quoted me lower dyno time, but they seemed much less competent than the person who cost more.

5.831 and 10.1 LOL. What is this a supercharger?
Is that a calculated avg boost or peak boost or wtf? LOL. I get peak boost anywhere from 19-23psi depending on how the boost controller feels that day.
Anyhow what size turbo are you running CFM? So I can get a sense of what 10psi is in terms of flow rate. Regardless, I'm sure you'll be fine, just make sure you tune safely. What afr/timing are you shooting for at 10psi?. Run a high octane like 94 and I doubt your det. Just listen or check logs to be sure.
GL! Post up some dyno when your done.
Edit: What are you using for tuning?

the 5.xxx and 10.1xxx im talking about waste gate springs. i have a halman manual boost controller and dont like it.
I was told that with a boost controller you can pretty much double what your waste gate spring psi is at.
i am using the aem fic for tuning.
i know you hate people talking is psi, and would like to know more of how to calculate what kind of cfm's im pushing.
im searching for my turbo specs.
