I am using a MSD DIS2 with my turbo set up to retard the timing. I am also using Magnecore wires with 2 stage colder NGK plugs(gapped at .035).

My timing is retarded 4 deg at 4000 RPMS and up. Now I am having trouble, when i am full throttle and hit 4000 RPMS the engine hesitates for a split second then goes back to normal until like 5000 rpms and the same thing happens again(missfiring??).

I replaced the spark plugs with new ones and checked all connections everything looks ok. After these "hic ups" happend at 4000 rpms, usually by the third time my check engine light comes on. Never got it scanned yet sorry.

Any idea on what to check for?

what are you using as for fuel management?? do you think that could be a possibility ??

 

fuel management i am using a SAFC and AEM FPR.
