Math problem ! boost=compression

Default Math problem ! boost=compression

so i searched yahoo and google to try and find this out.



1 lb of boost is equal to how much increased compression ?



i know there is a math formula for it, but i cant seem to locate it.



or does any one even know the rule of thumb with this ?

Effective Compression = ((Boost PSI / 14.7) + 1) * Current Static Compression Ratio
